Our Graduates

Learn more about Dulwich from some of our alumni.
Sunwoo
Dulwich College Suzhou
Attending University of Cambridge
I have always had profound interest in Maths and Natural Sciences. Choosing Cambridge was therefore an easy decision. The IGCSE and IBDP bombarded me with a great deal of stress. I think I would not have made it through without the support of family, friends and the school university counselling team. Interactions with them were a great pleasure.
Jay
Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong
Attending University of Stanford
The school really prepared me for the spirit of disruptive innovation at Stanford – to have the audacity to imagine, but also the ability to plan. The IBDP emphasis on interdisciplinary thinking and its CAS extracurricular program has really allowed me to make abstract ideas a reality and gain valuable managerial skills.
Crystal
Dulwich College Suzhou
Attending Wellesley College
After being at Dulwich College Suzhou for many years, I realised I was most happy when learning amongst a relatively small and close-knit community. Wellesley's traditions and alumni made it feel like home. Having been personally influenced by an upperclassman alumnus myself, I hope to continue having close relationships with my fellows.
Brandon
Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong
Attending Imperial College London
The school university counselling team thoroughly prepared me for both my studies and life beyond Dulwich. The teachers and counsellors constantly encourage and guide students, sharing their own invaluable experiences for both academic and university life. Despite the pressure of the IBDP, the team provided me with reassurance and support.
Zhao
Dulwich International High School Suzhou
Attending Rhode Island School of Design
Rather than focusing on painting techniques, I found that art teachers at Dulwich pay more attention to the creativity and use of elements in students' works and respect and encourage students' ideas. My teacher broke many of my previous ideas about art learning.
Nathan
Dulwich International High School Zhuhai
Attending McGill University
The English course encourages a lot of reading, which gives you a solid foundation for studying abroad. As experiments account for 1/3 of the coursework we have lots of relevant experience when we go to university. The teachers also give us personal space, so you learn discipline and how to take responsibility for yourself.
Jason
Dulwich College Beijing
Attending Berklee College of Music
All the music teachers I have studied with in DCB have been hugely influential to me as a musician and a person in general. The DCB university counsellors have been a ton of help for me as I applied to both UK and US schools, and dealing with the different essays could have been overwhelming without their support.

Dulwich Difference

Holistic, experiential learning online and on-campus, with a strong record of academic excellence.
The Dulwich Difference is underpinned by three educational principles: holistic, experiential learning in any learning environment – on-campus and online; putting our students first; and connecting our students beyond borders for an education that prepares each of them to Graduate Worldwise.
Wellbeing
We believe that wellbeing is critical in enabling our students to discover and develop the full extent of their capabilities, talents and academic success.
Experiential Learning
We teach our students how to use what is around them to learn. That means each lesson is designed to meet the needs of students.
Digital Skills
Digital skills, digital literacy and cultivating digital citizenship is a big part of our students’ lives today. These areas are intentionally designed into everyday learning – regardless of the environment.
STEAM
At Dulwich, we combine STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths) with entrepreneurship, developing broad skills ranging from coding and design to robotics and VR.
Mandarin
A core curriculum subject since opening in 2003, we deploy multiple tiered pathways to ensure each student’s Chinese learning needs are fully met.
Visual and Performing Arts
We devote significant resources to ensure students receive unique opportunities to take part in all areas of the Arts. Dulwich alumni have gone on to pursue higher education in the Arts in top institutions all over the world.
Sports
A key part of the curriculum, research shows that sports enhance organisation, discipline, teamwork and overall wellbeing. We encourage leadership and emphasise the importance of sportsmanship.
Sustainability
We have a responsibility to educate our students and community about caring for the planet. We equip them with the skills and knowledge to act responsibly now, and become change-leaders for the future.
Service
We want our students to make a positive difference in the world. Through service learning, our students learn social responsibility, leadership and empathy, developing an understanding of their role in the world.

Online Learning

The Dulwich Difference delivered online
The COVID-19 outbreak took the world by surprise months ago. Schools had to move to a completely online environment in a very short period of time. We took the opportunity to uncover different ways of delivering the Dulwich Difference in any learning environment whether on-campus, online or in hybrid environment.
Purposeful
No matter online or on-campus, we help your child take ownership and responsibility for their learning so they can become mature and independent learners.
Adapted and Applied
We enable your child to apply learning across different contexts. Our teachers encourage students to apply what they learn in lessons in any setting, while introducing them to new digital tools and applications to showcase their work.
Personalised
Whether online or on-campus, each learning environment and experience is designed with the needs, talents and capabilities of our students as the focus.
Relational
We facilitate effective collaboration and build safe and positive relationships to help your child view mistakes as collective learning opportunities. In the digital environment, students learn how to collaborate through technology, a critical skill for university and beyond.
