- Dulwich Beijing celebrates new theatre
Beijing December 5, 2013: Students, parents and staff came together to celebrate the opening of their new theatre and school building with a musical extravaganza that “Lessons in love” a musical written and narrated by our very own Dulwich IB Drama students Yiu Min Gan, Capucine Brunet and Eva Lee, was the absolute highlight of the opening ceremony of the new stunning facilities of Dulwich College Beijing. Shane O Shea, Mark Stingle and Kat Maguire assembled an impressive cast of almost 200 actors, singers and musicians. The show was absolutely West End-worthy and garnered long standing ovations by the 600 strong audience. Dulwich Beijing students were joined onstage by West End stars Aoife Mulholland and Morgan Crowley and members of the Beijing Youth Orchestra, who worked and performed with them the entire week.
