DCI students celebrate excellent IBDP Results

We congratulate our students from Dulwich College International schools who have received their International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme results. All Year 13 students from our Colleges in Shanghai, Beijing and Suzhou completed their IBDP in May, with a pass rate of 100% and outstanding results.

This year, students graduating from Dulwich College International schools achieved an average score of 37.2 out of 45, compared to the world average of 30.07.

Over 30% of Dulwich College International students who took the IBDP were awarded 40 points or more and 100% of our students who studied Mandarin at Higher Level gained 6 or 7 points in the subject, 7 being the top score. These results position the Dulwich College International group of schools among the top performing IB schools in the world.

Further, students graduating from Dulwich College Shanghai achieved an average score of 38.3 points and a remarkable 44.4% of students from the College achieved scores of 40 points or more.

Of the 70,000 or so students who sit the IBDP few achieve perfect scores of 45. This year two of these students came from Dulwich College International schools. Among a host of individual successes, Clarisse P from Dulwich College Shanghai and Clara J from Dulwich College Suzhou attained perfect scores.

The results from Dulwich College Suzhou reflect the strength of their language programmes, with nine students graduating with Bilingual Diplomas having successfully completed their Language A in Korean, Chinese or French.

The IB Diploma Programme is recognised as one of the most demanding High School academic qualifications in the world.
