- Dulwich College International Fencing Team wins multiple medals
The first week of October is China’s National Day holiday in China, when most people travel or simply enjoy the nice autumn weather. However, Dulwich College International Fencing Team was busy competing at three different competitions. The largest group with eight fencers competed at the highest-level Chinese amateur competition in Nanchang, China.
Our fencers showed a tremendous progress with most participants making it through the preliminary rounds (some unbeaten), and managing to win one or more elimination rounds.
Two of our fencers won bronze medals in two other competitions. David H (Year 6) won his medal in Beijing, while Alex W (Year 4) won his medal in Hong Kong.
All the hard work the fencers are putting in is starting to pay off. Congratulations to our young fencers and also to our coaches for their amazing achievements!
