Assistant Director of Schools, Early Years, DCI Previous Post: Head of Early Years, Dulwich College in Beijing DCI also welcomes Kate Beith to the Schools Team. Kate exemplifies the opportunities available to members of the Dulwich family. As Head of Early Years at Dulwich College Beijing for five years she had tremendous success transitioning the programme from Montessori to Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Furthermore, she helped set up the Early Years programme at Dulwich College Seoul and a very successful international Early Years conference. As a result, DCI asked Kate to pack her bags and move to Shanghai to work at headquarters. Her brief is to oversee Early Years programme quality across the network and build Dulwich’s visibility in the local and international Early Years communities. A well-respected member of the international Early Years community, Kate has been invited to speak at many international conferences and written several books used by Early Years educators all over the world. "From the start of my career, my mission has been to promote the safety and well-being of children all over the world," says Kate. "It is in such an environment that optimal learning takes place."
