US University Tour in Dulwich Suzhou

In early September, 32 Universities from the US and looking at recruiting high quality students descended on Dulwich College in Suzhou as part of their Asia Tour for 2012. The Universities ranged from a broad spectrum including Purdue University, Penn State, the University of California group; George Washington University, and some liberal arts colleges like Bates; and Art & Design institutions like the Savannah College of Art and Design. They came to Suzhou Senior High School and Dulwich College Suzhou joint campus and prior to the fair they presented workshops to students on the admissions process, writing of essays and the admissions process in general. Mr. Jack Shull, our very own Head of Counselling for the Dulwich College Suzhou and coordinator across the Dulwich International group, organised the event, and was delighted at the opportunity such an event gave the Dulwich College Suzhou students. “All of our Dulwich Suzhou years 10, 11, 12 and 13 students went along to a packed event with over 500 students in all taking part…there were also students from across the Suzhou and Yangste delta region. It was truly a great event and a great location that received plenty of positive feedback from the US side.” The Tour Leader, Mary Adams from Penn State said “These events where we have the opportunity to interact with your students and you are the highlight of our recruiting year. We appreciate all the hard work and effort you put into making our visit so successful.” For more information and planning for 2013 you can reach Jack on email at [email protected].
