Celebrating Excellence & Achievements Across Our Community

This month, our schools have been recognised for their academic distinction and commitment to purposeful learning. These achievements highlight the dedication that unites our community.

'Friends of Dulwich' International Essay Competition

The International Friends of Dulwich Essay Prize has been awarded for the first time. In this inaugural edition, essays of an astonishing calibre were submitted by 29 students from six of our schools: London, Seoul, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai Pudong and International High School Suzhou.

The competition was organised and created by Dulwich College's Year 12 student, Aidan L. He was inspired by last year's 'Dulwich Olympiad' and how it brought students from all over the world together. The prizes were presented by Mr Rob Milne, Master of Dulwich College in London.

Winners:

  • 1st Place: Jessie X (Dulwich International High School Programme Suzhou)– praised for marshalling ideas across multiple disciplines; an 'extremely interesting contribution to the debate and worthy of first prize'.
  • 2nd Place: Faris A-S (Dulwich College in London)– recognised as 'scholarly, deliberate and well-argued', with strong historical and policy analysis.
  • 3rd Place: Karan M (Dulwich College Seoul) – commended for a careful, balanced approach to a complex topic.
  • This competition was kindly sponsored by the Friends of Dulwich College parent group.
