We are thrilled to share that Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong has been named in the Top 10 World's Best School Prize for its contribution to Supporting Healthy Lives!

What is the World's Best School Prize?

The World's Best School Prizes identify and celebrate schools' leading and innovative practices that have impacted the lives of their students and their community.

What is the Supporting Healthy Lives Prize?

The Supporting Healthy Lives Prize recognises schools that provide access, relevance, and opportunities for students, staff, and the community to develop healthy habits, behaviours, knowledge, and skills.

"We are thrilled and excited to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award. This recognition is important to our community as health and wellbeing are at the heart of all that we do. The community has worked tirelessly together over the last four years to develop the College-wide, multi-faceted, inclusive Wellbeing Programme we have today." - Caroline Taylor, Head of College

To land the nomination of top 10 finalists, Dulwich Pudong has undergone an extremely rigorous selection process, including documenting the Whole College Wellbeing Programme and having an hour-long live interview with an expert from the World's Best Schools Awarding Committee. It stands out among thousands of schools worldwide to be the only school in China to have made the Top 10 in any of the five categories, which best acknowledges our commitment to students' health!

As one of the Top 10 shortlisted finalists, Dulwich Pudong has been invited to share the valuable experience and expertise in a keynote session during World Education Week this October. We believe it will be a terrific example for all educators interested in students' welfare.

At Dulwich, wellbeing culture is embedded across all campuses. In developing the skills and character strengths that enhance wellbeing, our goal is to not only contribute positively to the wider community, but also provide a learning environment that allows our students to flourish and eventually make their own positive impact. Here’s hoping that we become a consistent fixture on the global list of Top 10 Schools!
