Dulwich Zhuhai: Set Sail Together, Embarking on a New Chapter of Education

In February, Dulwich International High School Zhuhai was officially approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education to offer the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programme. The acquisition of the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programme licence is highly responsive to the regulatory requirements and ensures the compliance and sustainable operation of Dulwich International High School Programmes. In addition, Dulwich International High School Programme Hengqin has been the first approved Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programme at the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

Based on the Programme's vision of being rooted in the Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, we are pleased to announce that the new name of the Programme, Dulwich International High School Programme Hengqin (DHHQ), will be officially launched on 31 July, 2024.

The international educational provision remains unchanged. The Dulwich International High School Programme Hengqin adheres to the high quality educational philosophy of Dulwich College International (DCI). The programme enjoys a holistic educational provision as offered by Dulwich College International within China through EiM, as part of the DCI family. We will continue to be a bridge connecting students with the world.

The new name reflects the unique geographical advantage of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. Students enjoy an international environment, broaden their perspectives and obtain a diversified learning experience.

As part of the educational highlands of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, the predecessor of Dulwich International High School Programme Hengqin, known as Dulwich Zhuhai, has prepared numerous outstanding students for world-renowned universities.

Over the past 15 years since the Programme's inception, nearly 80% of graduates have been admitted to the QS Rankings Top 100 universities and more than 50% have been admitted to Top 50. The graduates pursue their studies in a variety of fields, including financial technology, life sciences, biomedical sciences, artificial intelligence, economics and business administration, architecture, art and design, and music. 

The wide range of majors reflects the effectiveness of the Programme's holistic approach to education, which focuses on enabling each student to find their 'best-fit' fields and universities. 

For the Class of 2024, as of June 20, 62 graduates received 261 university offers and 8.5 million RMB in scholarships. 

Among the results, a number of universities ranked in the top 20 in the newly released QS 2025 rankings are also destinations for Dulwich Zhuhai graduates - Imperial College (ranked 2nd), University College London (ranked 9th), University of Melbourne (ranked 13th), University of Hong Kong (ranked 17th), University of Sydney (ranked 18th), University of New South Wales (ranked 19th). 

The graduating class has achieved encouraging results in terms of overall university admissions and personalised choice of major.
