Celebrating exceptional IB Results

We congratulate our students from Dulwich College International schools who have just received their IB Diploma Programme results. All Year 13 students from our Colleges in Shanghai, Beijing and Suzhou completed their IB Diploma in May and achieved outstanding results.

68,450 students worldwide sat the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and set the global average score at 29.8 out of 45. The Dulwich College International average score this year was 37.1 out of 45. 160 students worldwide achieved perfect scores of 45 and 4 of these students are from Dulwich College Beijing. Where 1 in 428 IB Diploma students achieved a perfect score this year, 1 in 40 DCI students did. 29% of Dulwich College International students who took the IBDP were awarded 40 points or more and 93.2% of our students who studied Mandarin gained 6 or 7 points in the subject. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is recognised worldwide as among the most rigorous courses of study. Such exceptional results reflect the hard work of our students and the dedication of our teachers and staff. This year, our graduates have secured places in the world’s top universities, including the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University College London, Imperial College London, King’s College London, Cornell University, Brown University and University of California, Berkeley. We wish all our graduates great success at their chosen universities and beyond. Brian McDouall the Director of Schools for Dulwich College International said:

Once again the DCI average has risen significantly - a superb effort by students and staff. Many congratulations to all."
