The Dulwich Festival of Music will see bands, orchestras and choirs from across the Dulwich family of schools performing music around this year’s theme, War and Peace. The concert commemorates Armistice Day which marks the anniversary of the end of World War I. The four day festival will be opened by a renowned percussionist from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Leo Le Yu, on the 12th November. As part of the festival, student musicians will receive specialist guidance from Andy Stott, Head of Popular Music at the RNCM. Stott will also be leading an exciting ‘Rock Fest’ involving Dulwich student rock bands performing songs revolving around the festival theme. The Dulwich Festival of Music will culminate with a Gala Concert on the 15th November.
