Hydroponics
Project Manager: Elena Crozzi
The Hydroponics project will build on the idea that students are able to take control of their own learning and look at how systems can be developed with minimum intervention from adults. The project has been developed to allow students to engage with the project in a series of incremental steps over several years, which will allow them to be able to explore ideas and also develop them in a range of ways. As well as developing innovation through the use of technology, students will also be able to see how (even relatively simple) technology can change communities and allow access to healthy foods for people from a wide range of society. Students will be able to see how hydroponics are used in remote areas and also in large industries. The Hydroponics project will also allow teachers, support staff and parents to be involved and develop their own knowledge of hydroponics and the associated benefits.
