300,000 RMB awarded for development of student-led projects

In 2018, Dulwich College International launched the Pioneering Spirit Grant for teachers in order to promote, foster and recognise innovative approaches to learning through the use of technology. Based on its success, the Pioneering Spirit Grant for students was launched to recognise and encourage student-led innovation projects and entrepreneurship.

The Pioneering Spirit Grant aims to support this forward-thinking, can-do attitude for projects that make a positive impact to the school and/or the wider community. This year, 32 applications were received across the Dulwich College International network of schools and 10 were selected for funding with the total amount of 300,000 RMB. 

We are proud to see that among all the applications, 66% had an environmental component which aligns with the Dulwich College International commitment to sustainability. We believe that we have the responsibility to equip our students with the right skills required to make their own informed decisions that will have a positive impact for the environment.
